1. Scope
This Returns & Refunds policy describes how ForgeTrail Academy handles cancellation and refund requests for paid programs listed on thosisone.digital. It is designed to align with common consumer expectations in the Republic of Korea while recognizing that cohort programs incur planning costs.
If a separate written agreement exists for your cohort, conflicting terms will be identified explicitly in that agreement.
2. Eligibility
You may request a refund within fourteen days of purchase if the cohort has not yet delivered the first live session or equivalent milestone documented in your welcome email. After that milestone, refunds may be partial or unavailable except where required by law or expressly stated in your offer letter.
Promotional bundles are evaluated as a single purchase; partial refunds may not map cleanly to individual modules.
3. Contact
Refund requests must be sent from the email address used at registration to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and your cohort name. We may ask for verification to prevent fraudulent claims.
Charge disputes opened with payment networks without first contacting us may slow resolution because we must reconcile records with processors.
4. Exceptions
No refund is owed if access credentials were shared in violation of program rules, if materials were substantially downloaded and the refund window has passed, or if you completed more than forty percent of asynchronous modules as measured by the learning platform report where applicable.
We may waive exceptions where technical failures on our side prevented access for a prolonged period.
5. Process
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method where technically supported. Processing times depend on card networks and acquiring institutions; most complete within ten business days after approval.
If the original method cannot receive credits, we will propose a reasonable alternative documented in writing.
6. Timeframe
We aim to confirm receipt of refund requests within three business days and to issue a decision within ten business days where facts are straightforward. Complex cases involving third-party platforms may require additional time, which we will communicate.
Statutory timelines under Korean consumer regulations prevail if they require faster action.
